Ministry

Focal ministry highlights

Three commitments guide how this congregation serves Long Beach and Lakewood.

Health

Serving the whole self

We seek to serve the whole self in order to better serve the world — body, mind, and spirit treated as one.

Education

We must remain an informed people in order to affirm people. Study, teaching, and honest conversation are how a congregation stays awake.

Economics

We must access financial resources that best serve ourselves and those in need — stewardship understood as a form of neighbor-love.
