About the pastor
Rev. William Moses Summerville, MDiv
Senior Pastor
Born and reared in Champaign/Urbana, Illinois, William now resides in Long Beach, California, by way of Arkansas, back to Illinois, Wisconsin, and Montana.
He has extensive experience in military chaplaincy, clinical chaplaincy, and congregations among various faith traditions. His professional experience began as an Air Force Chaplain and later progressed to spiritual care in hospitals, academia, and churches.
William is an ordained minister and certified chaplain, and holds a Master of Divinity from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Religion and Society at Omega Graduate School.
Pastor Summerville is honored to be the father of 3 children, Makeda, Jaxon and Ezekiel Summerville.
